OCLS learn 2.1 Introduction

Hello I am the Library's Frenchie!!
I work in the Computer Resource Center ... where we teach all those computer classes, including Web 2.0.
So why I am doing web 2.1, well just for gymnastic of the brain!!

Learn 2.0 week # 10

Podcast:
Learn 2.0 has been a great experience, it helped me explore further my knowledge about certain subjects. This week lesson is about podcast. I had to teach podcast for kids 2 days ago. Some extra info for the ones that LOVE podcast (not me!! to much bla bla) you can save your favorite podcast on Juice and update them regularly. For kids the OCLS site is the best, another good one is Nick.com kids can watch short episode of their favorite show.

How are you going to use your MP3 player?
Like Tom mentioned it in our TCSS meeting this morning. I am going to France (home) for two weeks for my wedding and the 13 hours fly one way will be much nicer in music!!

Learn 2.0 week # 9

Ohhh La LA
I am confused we have been debating all week about the copyright matter.... I understand and agree with both sides. One say that we should all buy our songs and use it only for ourselves, the other side say music should be free with no restrictions.
Well I have not bought all the Cd's I own... let say that I have a lot of burn CD, but don't I have the right to burn my own Cd? after all I payed for it, Why can't I make my friends a compilation of great songs? Or they bought the best CD ever can they make me a copy? NO because of copyrights...... who follows that????

Learn 2.0 Week #8

We did the Flickr project as a department (CRC) our pictures should be up tomorrow (06/14/07).

I was browsing on 2.0 and watching a video and they talk about this site where you can make a 1800 phone call, speak your message and receive it as an email.
This is a great site www.jott.com and it works, even for me with my accent.

Now we all need to make a difference givemeaning give money to needy people or cause, you can choose from everything to anything.

Fun ... Fun ... Fun!!!
I scored a 1500 on Blufr .... yeeee!! Then I had to go back to work, you know how it is!!

The other activities well I did not make any New Year's resolution, I don't like beer, and I did not feel like creating an account to play Sudoku.

I am actually looking for a house and I was really happy about the resources offered.
When I clicked on http://www.propsmart.com/ I realize that I had already visited half of the houses offered and most of them are not on the market anymore....

The MotorMapUSA I will not mention it to my better half ... otherwise I will have a new car next week!!
